Salary Range or Starting Hourly Rate: $130,000 - $178,500/ per year

 

Overview

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for an analyst to join the Engineering Solutions team supporting the Test Operations and Sustainment contract at Arnold Engineering Development Complex at Arnold AFB, TN. This engineer will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for maintaining and sustaining the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Job Summary

The Foreign Technology Group is seeking a highly qualified aerospace, mechanical, or chemical engineer with a strong background in the analysis of space launch infrastructure and production, military production infrastructure, and chemical plant operation and unit processes – to include energetic materials. You will work independently to conduct comprehensive all-source analysis focused on foreign space launch and missile infrastructure to assess the capabilities, capacity, and strategic intent of adversarial aerospace programs. Additional responsibilities will include report writing, preparing and briefing presentations to senior leadership, and possible travel to meet with customers.

 

Job Duties:

  • Analyze, monitor, and assess the operational status, capacity, and developmental expansion of foreign space launch facilities, spaceports, missile production, and test ranges.
  • Track and evaluate the manufacturing lifecycles, supply chains, and production rates of space launch vehicles and theater/strategic missiles.
  • Synthesize information across multiple intelligence disciplines (GEOINT, SIGINT, MASINT, OSINT) to produce baseline capabilities and predictive threat assessments.
  • Produce intelligence products, such as reports and briefings, to deliver to customers, leadership, and policymakers.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within the specified budget.
  • Potentially travel to meet with customers.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • It is a condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in aerospace, mechanical, or chemical engineering from an accredited engineering school with 10 years of experience, to include at least 3 years of experience and familiarity with programing languages such as, but not limited to Python, MATLAB/Simulink, and VBA.
  • Active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to Air Force security requirements at AEDC.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in all-source intelligence analysis, specifically targeting aerospace, space operations, or missile defense domains.
  • Familiarity with Intelligence Community analytical standards, structured analytic techniques, and target systems analysis.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with a proven track record of writing strategic intelligence assessments.
  • Familiarity with standard analytical tools, GEOINT exploitation software, or data-mining applications.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, including creating and delivering presentations.
  • Active Department of Defense Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.

Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount BNH is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time jobs will be adjusted based upon the number of hours agreed to work at location Tennessee: Arnold Air Force, TN.
