Overview

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisitions Supervisor, supporting TOS II, at AEDC in Arnold AFB, TN. The engineer will be working as a member of the HR Operations branch responsible for recruiting to onboarding for the TOS II contract supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts. The HR Operations branch is responsible for Talent Acquisitions, Compensation, Staffing, HR Processes, HR Systems and Reporting.

Job Summary

 

The successful candidate will oversee the Talent Acquisition process and day-to-day operations of recruiting.

 

Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies which align with company’s growth objectives.
  • Oversee the hiring process, including posting job openings, screening applications, conducting pre-screening interviews, evaluating candidates, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  • Manage Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to assign user rights as well as coordinate changes and updates.
  • Collaborate with communications manager to enhance employer brand and attract potential candidates.
  • Coordinate participation in career, university, and local recruitment and outreach events to promote the company and its brand.
  • Prepare regular reports on recruitment metrics and provide insights to management regarding hiring trends and challenges.
  • Participate in strategic meetings to identify, discuss, and solve issues regarding company growth and talent acquisition.
  • Supervise and train recruitment staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Partner with managers to develop clear and concise job descriptions, and understand hiring needs, preferences, and expectations.
  • Reviewing applicants for eligibility, forwarding candidates to hiring managers for consideration, and scheduling interviews with candidates.
  • Recommend and implement changes to support a robust talent acquisition process.
  • Research, assemble, and evaluate information or data regarding industry best practices, policies, or programs, recommends sound practical solutions to complex issues.
  • Always maintain confidentiality.
  • It is a condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and 8 to 10 years of experience in HR, 4 years of which are in recruiting, staffing, and/or onboarding. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be substituted to meet the basic qualifications.
  • Experience with FAR, SCA, FLSA, and OFCCP related laws and regulations.
  • Must be able to obtain & maintain security clearance & access to DoD network & computer systems
  • Current U.S. Citizenship is required

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of lead or supervisory experience.
  • SHRM-CP or equivalent certification
  • Experience with iCIMS and UKG
  • Knowledge of laws and regulatory requirements related to areas of responsibility such as privacy of data, government reporting requirements and human resources program design and administration
  • Experience in basic compensation and setting starting salaries.
