Salary Range or Starting Hourly Rate (provided by HR):  $89,000 - $155,000 /year

Overview

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Reliability Analysis Specialist, supporting the Test Operations and Sustainment contract at Arnold AFB, TN. The specialist will be working as a member of the Engineering Solutions branch responsible for supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts. The Engineering Solutions branch performs cutting edge technology development work in support of the National Defense Strategy.

Job Summary

The Reliability Analysis Specialist is critical to maintaining the performance of our Lifecycle Sustainment program. The selected candidate will ensure the consistent, dependable performance of systems, products, and/or processes by collecting and analyzing failure data, developing models and metrics and making recommendations as appropriate. The successful candidate will be highly organized, have effective verbal and written communication skills, be able to work with discretion and confidentiality, exhibit proven time management skills, be proactive, and be willing to continually learn new duties and skills.

 

Job Duties:

  • Support collection and analysis of Reliability Engineering data to identify trends from OWAM, ASRS, OTLs, and others
  • Develop, calculate, and track Reliability Engineering metrics
  • Support Lost Test Time data collection and analysis
  • Produce Lifecycle Sustainment Contract Deliverables (CDRLs) for Reliability Engineering group
  • Develop new and improve existing training materials with the intent to improve data quality and collection methods
  • Review existing procedures to help identify areas for improvement to assist in reliability data analysis
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • It is a condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • AS degree from an accredited college plus a minimum of 10 years of experience with computerized maintenance management systems and collecting data for evaluation and analysis.
  • Experience using MS Access
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong data analytics skills
  • Experience with apparent and root cause analysis methodologies
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret level security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using SQL databases
  • Experience working with data sets
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies
  • Experience with RCM concepts and tools
  • Highly organized to track multiple projects and stay on top of status
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to learn
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
