Salary Range or Starting Hourly Rate (provided by HR): $55,000 – $78,300 / year

Overview

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Project Controls Cost Analyst, supporting TOS II, at Arnold Air Force Base, TN. The Project Controls Cost Analyst will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Job Summary

Perform the role of Cost Performance Analyst providing financial support to major stakeholders at AEDC. The successful candidate will communicate effectively with project managers, facility, test, and cost engineers and management to develop and maintain resource workload plans, track costs throughout the fiscal year, and ensure projects stay within budget allocations while adhering to earned value metrics.

 

Job Duties:

  • Assist in providing budget planning, estimating, tracking and reporting of facility and construction projects
  • Coordinate with Work Package Managers in developing project budget estimates, monitoring project cost performance, funding availability and EVM related reporting
  • Participate in funding scenarios brainstorming and out-year planning exercises
  • Assist cost engineering team to developing construction budget plans and then track and report budget status
  • Assist in analyzing of actual and forecasted resource requirements vs. contract baseline funding levels
  • Monitor reported actual costs and request corrections as necessary
  • Develop and maintain working relationship and collaborate with Project Controls function
  • Coordinate and communicate project and contract funding availability
  • Responsible for aligning costs with planned schedule activities, as required
  • Support on-demand business reporting requests from BNH management
  • Support the use of common work processes and procedures within assigned function
  • Assist in providing monthly project and construction schedule inputs to management
  • Develop and maintain process work instructions and procedure reviews, as required
  • Manage and maintain the project change control program
  • It is a condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Accounting/Finance/Information Systems/Engineering/Mathematics or other related degree plus 0 to 2 years relevant experience supporting Project Controls or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and the AEDC local area network.
  • Current U. S. Citizenship required.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of leadership.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize.
  • Proficiency in using several basic software applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
